Young Adults - Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (CHYK)

 Mission Statement: To empower youth with a holistic vision and value of life, enabling them to build their own future and that of the world around them.

What is CHYK?
CHYK stands for Chinmaya Yuva Kendra. Its members represent the youth wing of the Chinmaya Mission. CHYK chapters currently operate in many major cities of the world, spanning across all continents. In March 2005, CHYK West (www.chykwest.com) launched as the umbrella organization for all North American CHYK Chapters (Download pdf brochure on CHYK West). CHYK Toronto operates under CHYK West and in liaison with Chinmaya Mission Toronto.

Who are we?
CHYK is comprised of university students and young professionals dedicated to the pursuit of self-study and self-growth. It helps youth, ages 18-30+, develop a sense of unity and purpose while realizing their potential.
