Chinmaya Mission offers regular study and discussion classes for everyone in the family:

• Bala Vihar classes for children 4 – 17 years
• CHYK young adults classes for young adults 18 to 30 years
• Adult Study classes for young couples, parents, grand parents and anyone over 30 years.

What is CHYK?
CHYK stands for Chinmaya Yuva Kendra and is comprised of university students and young professionals dedicated to the pursuit of self-study and self-growth. It helps youth, ages 18-30+, to develop a sense of unity and purpose while realizing their potential.

Weekly adult study classes cover texts such as Bhagavad Geeta, Vivekchoodamani, Upadesh Sara and a collection of other scriptural and spiritual texts. Download full schedule.

Family activities
"Family that prays together stays together." We invite you to take part as a family in the Shiv Puja every Monday evening and in the Hanuman Chalisa Satsang every first Saturday of the month at Chinmaya Shivalaya.

Shiv Puja:
Every Monday Evening 7:30 to 9:00pm

Hanuman Chalisa:
Every first Saturday of the month 4:00 to 6:00pm
Join us in singing and chanting the praises of Hanumanji.
Hanuman Chalisa is a very well known prayerful glorification of Sri Hanumanji. It is called Chalisa because it has forty verses in Chaupai form. This stuti has been written by Goswami Tulsidas of Sri Ramcharitmanasa fame. Invoking the grace of Hanumanji paves the way for being blessed by strength, loving and inspired service, fearlessness, devotion, and finally the darshan of God and the blessing of Self-Knowledge.
